Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
